David Ryback, Ph.D., President, EQ Associates International

David_Ryback.jpgDr. David Ryback is an internationally recognized authority on emotional and social intelligence in the workplace. A respected consultant, speaker and seminar leader across the U.S., Europe and Asia, he remains at the forefront of the latest research on applications of emotional awareness and related aspects of business communication. He is recognized for his ability to touch minds and hearts while providing practical, easy-to-follow instructions that can enhance fulfillment at work, accelerate success and improve team-building skills.

His most recent achievements include the books, Psychology of Champions (Praeger), about the formula for ongoing success based on interviews with sports legends and super-athletes; ConnectAbility (McGraw-Hill), about building strong partnerships with your customers; and Secrets of a Zen Millionaire (Motivational Press), in which he shares his own inspiring story from rags to riches, while offering simple, easy-to-use applications to move forward to millionaire status, no matter what your current situation.

After winning at competitions in judo and kenpo karate in college, David Ryback traveled to the Far East to explore the business philosophies of successful entrepreneurs in Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, and then China.

In Bangkok, he was invited to remain as a consultant by the head of a large organization but decided to travel on. In Japan, a descendant of the Samurai class took him under wing and traveled with him. In Hong Kong, he scaled high mountains to dine with monks in their colorful temples. In China, he learned how to speak Mandarin so he could engage those steeped in their original culture, untouched by Western thinking.

Returning to the United States, David became a corporate consultant and began to research the most winning ventures of successful millionaires. When compared with conventional choices such as stocks and bonds, precious metals, precious coins, futures, the one option that most effectively led to millions in profits appeared to be real estate.

But how would the average American become a real estate investor without the capital to invest? The answer lay in what David had learned throughout his travels: The Zen principles of living simply and with compassion. With average income and without giving up his day job, David began experimenting with these principles and, to his surprise and that of his closest friends, he was soon a millionaire, quickly becoming a millionaire twice over.

Dr. Ryback shares his own inspiring story from rags to riches, while offering simple, easy-to-use applications to move forward to millionaire status, no matter what your current situation. Ryback’s book gives strategic tools to acquire the necessary money, find the right people to support you, and make decisions that benefit everyone involved—a true win/win proposition. Just a few of the strategies recommended by David include:

  • how to lower a price by letting someone else do it—a “killer” inspector
  • how to get partners to provide the money and “sweat equity” while you do no more than coordinate the deal and help everyone be a winner
  • how to partner with parents of college students, resulting in a win-win situation—they get their college bills paid and you make money
  • how to get the best, trouble-free tenants
  • how to get the tenants to improve the property, happily—for free

Dr. Ryback gets you from indebtedness to financial independence in 8 simple strategies, each of them easily accomplished and with a more fulfilling approach to life, both spiritually as well as financially. Both are intertwined in this amazing approach to getting rich without quitting your day job.

With highly personal stories from his own journey and the results of his adventures in the mid-East, Dr. Ryback will share his “secrets” that not only put you on the road to riches but also offer a life style of more fulfillment and enjoyment gleaned from the wisdom of Zen philosophy. Want to be happier and more fulfilled while getting rich as a byproduct? Then this presentation will make it happen for you.

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, David now lives in Atlanta where he founded EQ Associates International (www.eqassociates.com). He is a graduate of McGill University (B.Sc.), San Diego State University (M.S.), and the University of Hawaii (Ph.D.).
