Medical device manufacturers (MDM) used to be able to ship a device, hope that there were no cybersecurity issues, and address problems as they were found. Today, leading device vendors and stakeholders are demanding security be built into the devices they use. This talk explores this shift of moving the cybersecurity burden from hospitals, up the supply chain, to MDMs.
