The pandemic and healthcare crises resulted in digital health taking centre stage. A positive consequence of this was the rise of female technology and more debate and discussion around gender-specific health. So far, women’s health has usually been relegated to being within the folds of reproductive health. From stroke and diabetes to prosthetic implants and mental health issues, women have long been suffering from receiving care and treatment that has been designed “for men, by men, and on men.” In the era of precision health, we need to acknowledge that it is time for women to receive gender-specific treatment and care.
