Friday, September 14, 2018I’m committed to growing a more dynamic manufacturing community in Georgia. I began in 2008 when I founded Networking MFG with the mission of connecting, educating, and promoting manufacturing companies, engineers, and designers throughout Georgia. In 2011 our organization became the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA), and we have grown to five chapters throughout the state, with over 250 members.
Through GMA, my associates and I coordinate monthly plant tours and leadership training in each chapter, and hold regular networking events where our members come together to share best practices and business expertise. My team and I organized the Georgia Manufacturing Expos in 2013 and 2014, and the Georgia Manufacturing Summit in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
In 2015 I was presented with the Georgia Community Leadership Award and received the Accolade Award for Outstanding and Inspirational Speaker. For the past four years, the Honorable Governor Nathan Deal has presented GMA’s leaders with proclamations declaring June “Buy from Georgia Month,” bringing more awareness to the products manufactured in Georgia and the companies who make them.
My company has compiled, authored, and published the 2016 and 2017 Georgia Manufacturing Directory, a desktop directory of Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) members, providing a comprehensive listing of quality manufacturers and proven support service providers throughout the state.
