Investor Psychology Faculty Conference Call with Marketing Prof. Niedermeier
Friday, October 30, 2009
In order to make the best decisions and retain clients, we must understand the reasons behind clients’ investment decisions. Wharton
Marketing Professor Keith
Niedermeier recently coauthored a book entitled, Marketing
for Financial Advisors which explores decision making processes and investor
psychology.
Join the Wharton Club of Atlanta, Wharton Club of New Jersey, Wharton Club of Northern California and Wharton Club of South Florida for a conference call with Professor
Niedermeier on Friday October 30th at Noon EST as he discusses investor psychology and research findings from the field of behavioral finance. The objective of the talk is to give participants a deeper understanding of the way they make their money related decisions. Dr. Niedermeier will discuss topics like emotions, complexity, risk aversion, chasing momentum, and mental accounting. Ultimately, the goal of the discussion is to help people make better investment decisions.
Most Financial Advisors work independently, so there is little need for marketing
strategy, right?
Think again.
