The Wharton Fellows Program
www.whartonfellows.com
In response to the need of senior executives to understand mission critical issues facing business today, Wharton defined a new category of executive education by introducing a program that remains unrivaled. We streamlined a learning process that works for senior leaders facing the challenges of today’s fast-paced marketplace. It couples the best of experiential learning in the classroom with on-site visits to organizations newly cited for best practices and thought leadership in their field. The Wharton Fellows Program challenges leaders to rethink their existing mental models and enhances the latest leadership development methods of successful organizations around the globe.
For example, the next Master Class will be in Washington DC (Oct. 25th-27th). We will focus on the increasing role of government and the need for better understanding of how government works and the opportunities the new Government role – in regulation, in the execution of the stimulus package and in the pursuit of current priorities of health care, education, energy and environment, and infrastructure offers to businesses. Panels with some of the most qualified experts in their fields will inform and challenge the audience. A unique feature of this Master Class will be the “Washington Strategy” each Fellow will be asked to prepare for their firm over the course of the 2 ½ days. The information provided together with the contacts made with many Washington insiders as well as the exchange with other Fellows will provide the platform for each to develop an outline for what they should be doing to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the changing Washington.
