Colgate/Ivy Invitational Polo Match, Sunday, October 4!
We cordially invite you to spend a beautiful fall afternoon in the country enjoying the excitement of polo. Bring your picnic baskets and enjoy the lush landscape of Chukkar Farm & Polo Club. Dress is casual, and no knowledge of polo is necessary.

New for this year! Equine Art show!
As an event designed for horse lovers, this festival boasts an artist village with up to 40 artisans showcasing their horse-inspired artwork. From metal sculpture to original paintings it's all about the horse! See www.equineartshows.com for more infomration. Make it a family day by bringing your own picnic. Sit on the hillside and watch the horses thunder by! |
Activities include:
- A spirited pre-match introduction to the sport by Chukkar Farm owner Jack Cashin.
- Networking pavilion with beer provided by ABSA, and a Sangria by Savida Sangria. Some alumni clubs will be providing additional refreshments as well.
- Special playground area for children
- Stomping the divots between matches
- Hay rides around Chukkar Farm
- Post-game celebration with the players

When: Sunday, October 4, 2009, Activities begin at 2 p.m., feel free to arrive a little earlier to set up & mingle with other alumni.
Where: Chukkar Farm & Polo Club, 1005 Little River Way, Alpharetta, GA
Lunch: Bring your own picnic
Cost: $15 per adult. Free for kids under 12 years of age. Payment will be collected at the event.

From GA 400:
- Exit 11 then turn left and go 6.8 miles to Birmingham Road.
- Turn left onto Birmingham Road.
- Go 2 miles and turn right onto Birmingham Highway.
- Turn left on New Bullpen Road (0.1 mi).
- Turn right on Liberty Grove Road (2 mi).
- Chukkar Farm is 1.1 miles on your left (green barn).
From I-75:
- 75 North to 575 North, exit 19.
- Turn left onto Hwy 20 to Union Hill Road (3.5 mi).
- Turn right onto Union Hill Road to Liberty Grove Road (5.8 mi).
- Turn left onto Liberty Grove Road to Chukkar Farm on left (1.1 mi).
